OISC Skate School

Welcome to the Olympic Ice Skating Centre’s Skate School – the perfect program to build your skating skills and transition into ice sports or general skating.

Our program follows the Aussie Skate™ national learn-to-skate curriculum, the only program endorsed by Ice Skating Australia. This ensures you receive structured, step-by-step training from beginner to advanced levels.

Our experienced coaches in Figure Skating, Ice Hockey, and Speed Skating will guide you through each stage of the Aussie Skate levels, helping you develop the core skills for confident skating:

We use a badge system to track your progress and celebrate milestones.
Suitable for: Adults and children – great for first-time skaters.

 

Passes & Bookings

Term passes can be purchased via the front desk

Drop-In Price: $35 per session (skate hire included)

Family Friendly Pass Options

• 20 Pass: Valid for two family members (e.g. siblings or parent & child)
  
  

• 30 Pass: Valid for three family members (e.g. siblings & parents)
  Each person counts as one “click” per session.
  
  

 

Important Pass Information

• Passes are valid for the 10-week term only and cannot be carried over.
  
  

• Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared outside the family (for family passes).
  
  

• Lost cards incur a $20 replacement fee and will be replaced for the current week of the term.
  
  

• Passes cannot be used for other programs (e.g. Figure Sessions or General Sessions).
  
  

• If you forget your pass, a drop-in fee will apply.
  
  

Weekday Skate School

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

*Weekday Skate School Classes will continue during the school holiday

Schedule:

• 3:30 pm – 4:45 pm: Free Skate / Warm-Up
  
  

• 4:45 pm – 5:15 pm: Group Classes

• Term 4: Starts Mon, 6th October - Term End Sunday, 14th December

Weekend Skate School

Days: Saturday & Sunday

Schedule:

• 8:30 am: Check-In
  
  

• 9:00 am – 9:45 am: Group Lessons (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
  
  

• 9:45 am – 11:45 am: General Skate included
