NLHA Adult Ice Hockey Classes

Our classes capture the excitement of hockey and the joy of being on the ice. We offer a welcoming space where everyone can learn and improve. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to join a team, we’re here to help you reach your goals.


Friday Night Intro Class: 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm

This class is for beginners with little or no skating or hockey experience. If you’re new to the ice, it’s a great place to learn the basics in a friendly, supportive setting.

  • Term 1 2026: Starting January 30 2026 - Finishes April 3 2026 (10 Weeks)

  • Term 2 2026: Starting April 4 2026 - Finishes June 26 2026 (10 Weeks)

  • Term 3 2026: Starting July 17 2026 - Finishes September 18 2026 (10 Weeks)

  • Term 4 2026: Starting October 9 2026 - Finishes December 11 2026 (10 Weeks)


Friday Night Intermediate Class: 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Join this class after you’ve learned the basics of skating, stickhandling, and shooting. You should be able to skate confidently in both directions, make simple turns, and stop with control. Some hockey or skating experience is recommended.

If you’ve taken beginner classes or played a few games, the intermediate class will help you build your skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Friday Night Game Time: 9:45 pm - 10:45 pm

Game Time is a relaxed scrimmage where you can practice your skills. Teams are set up each week depending on who shows up, and everyone gets lots of ice time. Whether you want to try new moves or just have fun, Game Time is a great way to finish your week.

Prices:

Drop-In: $35

10 Week Term: $250

Gear Rental: $20

Gear Rental (10 Week Term): $200 ($100 Refundable)

Gear rental covers skates, a helmet with a cage, hockey gloves, shin guards, elbow pads, shoulder pads, pants, and a hockey stick. Please bring your own mouthguard and base layer. If you have your own gear and want to use it, just let us know when you sign up.
