Many young people who complete the Aussie Skate Program choose to take up Ice Hockey, the fastest team sport in the world.

The Victorian Ice Hockey Development Council, is a program auspice by the Victorian Ice Hockey Association catering for prospective players. The basic requirement is the ability to skate.

Players can commence anytime between the 1st Tuesday in February and the last Tuesday in November. Session runs from 5.30pm - 7.00pm. Cost is $16.00 per session. Cost includes coaching, use of hire skates, helmet and hockey stick. Insurance and membership of "Ice Hockey Australia" of $58.00 p.a. (under 18) or $71.00 p.a. (over 18) is also payable.
